Louisville Kentucky
Brazilian Wax Specialist
Your non-judgmental, pink-loving Brazilian waxer located in Louisville, KY
My goal is to fit into your busy schedule! Sundays will always be a priority for me, & I’m now introducing “mom hours” on Friday evenings for those who need to come in once the kiddos are in bed, or maybe you just work later & this is the best time for you!
Whatever it may be, I hope to see you in my suite 🩷
Hours & Location
Located inside The Sola St. Matthews - 5000 Shelbyville Rd #1110, Louisville, KY 40207
I am in Sola Suite 15.
You’ll park in the back parking lot of St. Matthews Mall (right beside El Nopal). You’ll see a sign that says “Sola Salon“ you’ll enter through there.
Right when you enter, you’ll hang a left, and I am in the second suite. Look for room 15. I’m right across from the bathrooms; feel free to head in and use them if you need to, then sit on the bench right outside the suite. I’ll come out to get you once I’m finished.
You should receive a text from my booking website giving you the option to check in. Feel free to do so once you’re seated out there. It’ll notify me on my iPad in the treatment room.

¼ of an inch!
Put the ruler down 😂 As long as it’s been 2- 3 weeks since you last shaved, or you can pinch the hairs with your fingers, you’re good to go!
-
Take ibuprofen or Tylenol 30 minutes before your appointment, & hold off on caffeine if you can.
The videos you see online are often people being very dramatic for views. The best way I explain the feeling to clients is that it’s similar to a tattoo or a rubber band flick, but it’s not a constant pain.
The wax has to dry, & I give you a small warning before each pull to prepare you. The first wax is the most painful, & then the hairs thin out so much that the second wax & on will be a walk in the park!
-
This info will be emailed to you before your appointment, but you're a pro & already studying!
Exfoliate 48 hours before your wax (please don't exfoliate any closer than 48 hours before your wax) & moisturize with unscented lotion.
Hydrate & try to keep the caffeine intake to a minimum (I know, rich coming from me), but caffeine can make you slightly more sensitive.
Wear loose baggy pants/shorts to your appointment, if you can.
Don’t forget to take ibuprofen or Tylenol 30 minutes before your appointment.
-
You can still be waxed; I just ask you to wear a tampon, disc, or cup to your appointment.
Don’t forget to take some ibuprofen 30 minutes before to help with being a little more sensitive when you’re on your period.
-
You sure can! Unless your doctor states otherwise, you should be good to go!
-
And I do too; there’s absolutely nothing wrong with you! I wax around them & move right along.
-
I also have HS, otherwise known as hidradenitis suppurativa. As long as you don’t have any active open flares, we should be okay to wax ya.
Waxing has been a game changer for reducing flares for me (it’s not guaranteed, but it’s always worth a try)
-
As long as you're not having an active outbreak, we are good to go!
It is worth noting that if you do have herpes, waxing can cause a flare-up in symptoms. If you’re on preventive medication, it can be helpful.
*Please ask your doctor if you have any concerns.

I usually say your bald for 1.5-2 weeks, & then random hairs will start to break through the skin around that two week mark.
Usually, you’ll get waxed every 4-6 weeks depending on your hair growth, but I do have folks that come in as early as 3 weeks, & some can go up to 8 weeks!
-
This will be talked about at your first appointment & you will also get an email following your appointment explaining all of this in detail!
Once you’ve been waxed, all you have to worry about is keeping the area free of dead skin & dry skin (the worst enemy of newly waxed skin).
I usually recommend a chemical exfoliant on an easy-to-use toner pad that I carry in the suite!
Scrubs aren't my favorite to recommend because they often contain pore-clogging ingredients and can irritate skin when it’s really not doing what we need it to do. If you’re more of a physical exfoliant person, I say a dry brush or exfoliating towels are always an option too!
And then a basic unscented lotion, which I also carry in the suite if you don’t have one handy at home!
Who doesn’t love a free Brazilian wax or three?!
I offer packages where you can get the biggest bang for your buck if you know you’re going to be a waxing queen 🩷
Vajacials to focus on your brazilians skin concerns?!
I couldn’t just stop at Brazilian packages & leave out the vajacials! You get 5 vajacials in this package & it brings the price of them down to $80 a piece instead of the normal $100.
Like anything skin-related, consistency is key. And with the vajacial package, you get a vajacial for free!
Plus, you can mix & match what type of vajacial we do each time depending on what your skin needs more of at the time!
